A bit ago I came up with a story titled “Hagar the Highest Harfowl”. It was about Hagar and how he came to live in the highest tree in the whole forest… Or at least what used to be the highest tree.

It was a fun story, so I’ve actually been doodling up some ideas for how to go about illustrating it. No promises on how far I’ll get, but here are some sketches trying to figure out what a Harfowl might look like up in a harfowl tree. As usual, click to see larger versions (I think that works)
