Hi, my name is Peter and this is a blog of my artistic journey. I am a hobby artist and I post my art here to keep a record for myself, to share what I’m working on with friends and family, and to keep myself motivated to continue my artistic practice.

I work in a variety of mediums but mostly either acrylic, gauche, watercolor, or lino prints. For subjects I do a large amount of landscapes and nature paintings and also enjoy sketching at coffee shops.

This blog includes posts from several years where I used Instagram, as well as years prior where I documented an artistic journey across the US on another blog. I keep some of these early works from over a decade ago to remind myself how much progress regular practice can achieve.
