This is a silly little oil painting on a hardboard panel I started in Fort Collins, CO and just ‘finished’ here in Portland, OR. Angela also helped a bunch which was really fun – I’ve never worked on a painting with someone else before. The reason I say ‘finished’ is that I don’t think I primed the hardboard sufficiently and the oil is sinking in, giving it a very flat dull appearance. Rather than put tons and tons of effort towards making a polished piece I’d rather start something new with a better ground. Now I know!
