Wyoming is the least populous state in the US. Beautiful if you like empty, empty, wide-open, unfathomably-large wilderness. We drove up through Laramie, then to Lander where we camped in Sinks Canyon, one of the most incredible parks we’ve been in. After that it was on to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone! Camping in Yellowstone was super expensive (not to mention full), so we tented up in a state forest just to the east of the park (legal & free as long as you are 1/2 mile away from the road). There were grizzly bear warnings and bear tracks all over the place so that was a little sketchy. Spent the next full day enjoying Yellowstone and then off across Idaho towards the west coast!
