Maybe not a rut… I still think a portrait is one of the most fascinating things you can draw… but I realize it’s not quite so interesting to look at an endless stream of them day after day.

Fast food / slow food. Today while walking around austin a random guy offered us a cucumber, some arugula, and some basil from his front garden. It was a delicious breakfast.
