I’ve been working in wet media (inks and watercolor) almost exclusively for a while now so I decided to try and branch out into some dry media: pastels. It’s like starting all over again in someways because I have to learn what to expect from the medium, and how to achieve certain looks.

The same girl here in highlights only (a little hard to make out). You can’t paint in highlights with black ink or watercolors, so this is fun for a change!
