My friends/hosts here just got some new cabinets from IKEA and the central panel didn’t match the rest, so we decided to paint it. This is a rendition of a famous brush painting by Li Cheng. It’s very difficult to do white on black in this style because the line becomes entirely symbolic (it no longer detonates light) but I think it came out alright. The writing is the title and original artist’s name.
